About L6
L6 is the web app for Danny's group piano method. You pick one of his original songs and learn the whole of it, one element of music at a time: notes, rhythm, the two together, dynamics, articulation, and tempo. Each step has a checkpoint before the next, and hands separate always come before hands together.
The app plays every song on a real sampled piano, note by note, so you can slow it down as far as you need with no loss of sound quality. Worksheets drawn from your own song will check note and interval reading and can be repeated as often as you like. Short videos introduce each element of music.
Access is by class roster. There is no password: enter your school email and a sign-in link arrives in your inbox. Your instructor can see which step each student is on, and nothing more.
Where the build stands
The foundation is done: sign-in, the class roster, progress storage, the song playback engine, and the instructor view. The learning path screens, worksheets, and videos come next, along with Danny's twelve songs replacing the placeholder tune. The class starts in January 2027.
It runs in the browser on phones and laptops. Nothing to install.
